On November 8, Victory Day and National Flag Day were celebrated in the state of Virginia, USA. The event was held on the initiative of Baku Delicious restaurant, with the organizational support of Azerbaijan House and the active participation of the Azerbaijani community living in the DMV area.

The program began with the opening speech of the President at the inauguration of Victory Park, followed by a moment of silence to honor the souls of our martyrs. Community members came together in a heartfelt, patriotic spirit, celebrating the day with a Victory feast from our national cuisine, accompanied by music, dances, poetry, and other performances.

As part of the program, a quiz on Karabakh was held, and the winner of the first place was awarded a special souvenir — the symbolic flower of Shusha, the “Khari Bulbul.”
