The House of Azerbaijan Successfully Organized the Novruz Holiday Bazaar

The House of Azerbaijan, with the support of the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku Delicious, successfully organized a festival-style Novruz Holiday Bazaar on March 22, bringing together diverse cultures under one roof.

The event featured vendors from 18 different nationalities, with approximately 150 guests from Turkish, American, and Persian communities joining the celebration. The main goals of the event were to build connections among communities, support women in entrepreneurship, preserve and pass down Novruz traditions to future generations, and create a festive atmosphere for nations that celebrate Novruz.

A Celebration of Culture and Diversity
The Novruz Bazaar featured dances from Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Turkish, Georgian, and Persian cultures. In addition, the theatrical performance of Kosa and Bahar Girl, symbols of Novruz, created unforgettable moments for the audience. Interactive entertainment corners, games, and gifts for both children and adults added to the festive experience.

Community Connections and Impact
The event created a unique platform for local businesses and startups to present their products and services, engage in cultural exchange, and strengthen ties between different communities. High participant interest and positive feedback marked this year’s event as a success and paved the way for larger-scale plans in the future.
